We are seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist with previous dental nursing experience to join our team in SE18. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the practice.
Hours: 19 hours per week, inclusive of a definite Wednesday evening shift (6–9pm)- number of hours per week may be negotiable for the right candidate. No Saturdays required.
Additional hours available to cover holidays and sickness. Potential to increase contracted hours in the future.
Responsibilities include:
* Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service
* Managing appointments and maintaining accurate patient records
* Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
* Supporting clinical staff when required, using nursing experience
* Assisting with general administrative duties to ensure the practice runs efficiently
Essential skills and experience:
* Previous experience as a dental receptionist
* Dental nursing experience
* Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
* Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* The ideal candidate would be a qualified dental nurse with valid GDC registration.
