The Role
Our client is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Science Teacher to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (ages 11–16).
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons across the Science curriculum. A specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics is welcomed, though the ability to teach general Science at KS3 and KS4 is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons
*
Teach across KS3 and KS4, preparing students effectively for GCSE examinations
*
Assess, monitor, and track student progress in line with school policy
*
Differentiate lessons to support students of all abilities
*
Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
*
Contribute to curriculum development within the department
*
Participate in departmental meetings and whole-school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Have a relevant degree in a Science discipline
*
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
*
Have experience teaching at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)
*
Be confident delivering GCSE content
*
Show a commitment to raising attainment and student engagement
*
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
