Overview

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our students and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills and proficient in clerical duties.

Hours of work will be 12pm to 8pm Monday to Friday


Duties

* Greet students and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
* Manage bookings and take payments for student rents.
* To act as chaperone when needed on showing of student accommodation.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
* Assist with administrative duties including filing, typing, and clerical work.
* To deliver student letters regarding complaints etc.
* Report incidents and health and safety issues to management for swift resolution.
* Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming.
* Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence as required.
* Support team members with additional administrative tasks as needed.


Requirements

* Proven experience in a receptionist or similar administrative role is essential.
* Strong clerical skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions.
* Competency in data entry and basic computerised office systems.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.
