Duties
* Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and food quality.
* Supervise kitchen staff and front-of-house team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
* Manage food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure seamless operations.
* Train new staff members on restaurant policies, food safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment, both front-of-house and back-of-house.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with supervisory experience preferred.
* Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food production techniques and food safety standards.
* Excellent leadership abilities, capable of motivating and managing a diverse team effectively.
* Experience in serving customers with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality.
* Familiarity with kitchen operations and equipment is essential; barista experience is a plus.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
