They must possess previous experience as well as additional plumbing qualifications. You must be loyal, honest, hardworking, and proactive. To carry out the following tasks on our own estate which comprises of medium and large healthcare buildings and other sites such as schools and further education buildings.Main Duties and Key ResponsibilitiesTo demonstrate competence within the required primary trade of plumbingHave the ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate organisational and time management skills.Have experience in undertaking plumbing installation & maintenance on residential and commercial buildings.Respond quickly to emergency situations and complete reactive repairs to domestic water & heating systems within the properties in line with the service level agreement.The ability to undertake mechanical 1st and 2nd Fix of residential properties including the installation of radiators, baths, shower trays WCs & wash hand basins including the applicable pipeworkTo carry out full pre planned maintenance and reactive maintenance to all plumbing systems within a building and perform trouble shooting on domestic water & heating systems.Perform and/or oversee water treatment and testing i.e. L8 sampling, TMV fail safe testingAssisting with the installation and modification of building equipment i.e. Boilers, CWST, unvented hot water cylinders & booster setsTo have the ability to orders parts and supplies as required, liaise with suppliers and maintain van stock levels.To complete general labouring duties that fall within your capability, in line with the needs of the business and to support other onsite trades.Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed in accordance with established procedures. Also be competent in the use of a mobile phone for email communication and to access tasks deployed to you via our engineering software application.Work with the full engineering team liaising with other specialisms where necessary to undertake collaborative projectsPerform other duties within your capabilities as assigned.Maintain the reputation of the company for high standards of work and professionalism at all times.To work as a positive team player, demonstrating mutual respect and integrity for others whilst maintaining open and effective communication at all levels with the business.Flexibility in working hours will be required at points for OOH & weekend works however there will be compensation for thisKey Skill/Experience RequirementsRequired: NVQ Level 2 6089 NVQ Mechanical engineering services
City & Guilds Trade Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the required trade.
