The role
As a Senior Integration Engineer, you’ll have an opportunity to make a real impact, ensuring systems and facilities integrate seamlessly to meet operational requirements. Your work will help safeguard national security while advancing your career in a dynamic, innovative environment.
Day-to-day, you’ll be at the heart of delivering complex engineering projects that support the UK’s defence capability.
1. Supporting the Interface Management process as part of the Integration team
2. Reviewing and coordinating the Product Breakdown Structure and updating the System Interface Matrix
3. Running Integration Workshops and Interface Review Meetings with Design Leads and Design Houses
4. Liaising with BIM Coordinators to identify spatial interfaces and constraints in the Federated Model
5. Reporting on interface status to the Operations and Integration Manager
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Senior Integration Engineer
6. Knowledge of process optimisation and human interface management
7. Civil construction site experience
8. Experience developing Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and procedure management information - Desirable
9. Submarine maintenance production engineering experience in a dockyard environment - Desirable
Qualifications for the Senior Integration Engineer
10. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
11. Chartered Engineer status (or working towards), registered with the Engineering Council
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
