What You’ll Be Doing
* Carry out efficient collection and delivery of palletised freight, using tail lifts and electric pallet trucks.
* Ensure all work-related paperwork is accurately completed and submitted at the end of each shift.
* Perform thorough vehicle checks before and after every shift to maintain safety and legal compliance.
* Report any non-conformities, issues or near misses promptly to your line manager.
* Secure freight safely for transit to protect goods and maintain quality standards.
* Deliver goods on time, maintaining professionalism and care throughout the journey.
* Use our industry-leading technology for route optimisation and proof-of-delivery capture, making your day smoother and more efficient.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Personal Qualities
* Proven experience operating Heavy Goods Vehicles.
* Competent in using power pallet trucks and electronic delivery equipment.
* Exceptional customer service skills and confidence dealing with customers.
* Pride in maintaining your vehicle and equipment to a high standard.
* Strong time-management skills with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
Licences & Certifications
* Digital Tacho Card – Required
* Valid Driving Licence – Required
* Driver CPC – Required
* Strong working knowledge of driver regulations – Required
