As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will take on responsibility for supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring sales targets are met while maintaining high standards of customer service and branch presentation. This role is ideal for someone with a background in vehicle parts sales, supervisory skills, and a mechanically minded approach. Prior experience in similar environments is essential, along with a full UK driving licence.
Benefits:
1. Competitive basic salary of £32,000 per annum
2. Realistic on target earnings of £39,000 per year
3. Performance-based bonus scheme with a maximum of £560 per month, subject to branch performance
4. 32 days holiday including bank holidays
5. Monday to Friday working hours from 9am to 5pm with a half-hour unpaid lunch break

Duties:
7. Support the Branch Manager in the daily running of the branch, ensuring excellent customer service
8. Assist in managing and motivating the branch team to meet and exceed sales and service goals
9. Actively promote and sell parts and associated products within set pricing structures
10. Ensure the branch presentation is always professional, clean, well-stocked, and secure
11. Manage stock levels, stock takes, and deliveries accurately and efficiently
12. Assist in training new staff members and identify training needs
13. Respond to alarm call outs as a key holder and operate necessary equipment including a forklift truck
14. Uphold the company's brand image and ensure health and safety policies are followed
15. Perform additional tasks as needed to support branch operations
Requirements:
16. Previous experience in vehicle parts sales or similar retail environment
17. Proven supervision skills and confident leadership ability
18. Mechanically minded with an understanding of vehicle or trailer components
19. Full UK driving and towing licence
20. Professional attitude and excellent communication skills
21. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet targets
