We are recruiting a motivated and experienced Team Leader to oversee a team of Support Workers in delivering high-quality care to adults with complex needs. Based in Twickenham, this full-time, temp-to-perm role requires travel across London and the Home Counties, so a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
As Team Leader, you will manage around 1000 weekly care hours, ensuring person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing. You will lead by example, supervising staff, supporting care delivery, updating care plans, and maintaining accurate records. Your responsibilities include staff induction, rota management, training support, and ensuring all care complies with safeguarding, health and safety, and CQC standards. You will also assist with audits, reporting, and budget management, while stepping in to cover shifts when necessary.
To be considered, you must have experience supervising in a regulated care setting, preferably supported living or care homes, along with strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care planning is essential. You must be willing to work towards NVQ Level 4 in Care and Management; NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) is desirable.
