An exciting opportunity has become available for a creative and passionate individual to join Radcliffe FC’s media team as a Media Officer.

Ideal candidates will have a broad skill set with an open-minded approach to learning new things in order to fulfil the roles and responsibilities required throughout our media team, and the ability to work closely with peers to deliver insightful and engaging content that aligns with the vision and values of the football club.

Synergising closely with the Head of Media, as well as the rest of our talented team, this individual will attend every home game and ideally every away fixture also, this will be at their own discretion however. He/she should be able to travel to the Neuven Stadium independently, away travel is provided for most games but select fixtures may require the individual to make their own way there, the best course of action will be discussed internally prior to each matchday.

Key responsibilities

This role may include, but aren’t limited to, the following accountabilities:

• Use writing skills to create regular match previews, match reports for the club and The Non-League Paper, programme content and other articles that may be required.

• Update our official overall and individual season stats pages.

• Create and share occasional posts on our social media platforms.

• Feature occasionally on the Radcliffe Radio podcast.

Other responsibilities may be communicated in due course.

Please note: This is a voluntary position. While the role is unpaid, you will receive full support from the club, access to excellent facilities, and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a progressive football environment.

How to apply

A CV and cover letter will be required when submitting your application, explaining what is special about you, what you can bring to the club and why you want the position. A portfolio of your best work that helps showcase your skillset would also be greatly appreciated.

Please send the above, or if you have any questions/queries, to kieran.wilson@radcliffefc.com before 12pm on the following date.
