Director, Head of Commercial Performance & Effectiveness
We have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Head of Commercial Performance & Effectiveness, to join our Commercial Cards team. This senior leadership role makes you accountable for leading the commercially focused elements of the commercial card business—including portfolio and sales performance, commercial strategy, data, pricing, and contract management.
Location: Birmingham / Glasgow / Leeds / London. Hours: Full Time. Working pattern: Hybrid, spending at least two days per week at an office site.
Accountabilities
* Own and drive the commercial strategy
* Oversight and management of the end‑to‑end P&L
* Ensure pricing strategy and methodology reflect business outcomes
* Drive understanding and track portfolio performance to inform strategy
* Partner closely with Finance and Sales teams to accurately track and report progress
* Lead, coach, and mentor the team to enable high performance
* Manage customer contracts and ensure performance in line with standards and terms
Qualifications
* Strong commercial skills
* Experience leading commercialisation teams and/or projects
* Exceptional P&L management skills
* Strong leadership skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to think laterally, be innovative and find creative solutions
* Brilliant collaborator across matrix teams
Preferred Experience
* Experience and understanding of Commercial Cards
* Knowledge of cards payment rails and funding models
