Job Description:
Implementing council and business unit policies and discharging the council's statutory duties in relation to all aspects of Environmental Health work.
Investigation of statutory nuisance, drainage, public health and other service requests and taking appropriate enforcement action where required.
Examining and commenting on the environmental health implications of planning, licensing, minerals and waste and Part A1 Permit applications.
Inspection of premises which are subject to legislation enforced by the team and taking appropriate enforcement action to secure compliance with relevant legislation.
To contribute to the continuous operational improvement of the team through team meetings and specific project work.
Giving professional opinion and advice as appropriate in Environmental Health matters.
Must be eligible to work in the UK
