Overview:
We have an ongoing requirement for experienced and reliable Class 1 Drivers for regular weekend work, based predominantly out of Wisbech, however there will be the odd requirement to run out of the customers premises based in Wimblington, March. The role will involve the transportation of ambient goods to various RDC's across the region.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough daily vehicle walk around checks and report any defects immediately
Operate vehicles safely and efficiently
Ensure all loads are sufficiently secured before transportation
Carry out deliveries and collections as scheduled
Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and tachograph records
Maintain good communication with the transport office where required
Provide good customer service during deliveries and collections
Essential Requirements:
Full UK driving licence, DQC Qualification and Digital Tacho Card
Sound understanding of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations
Flexible with working hours
Well-presented and professional
