Description
We are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance Team. This is an exciting role in the business and offers the opportunity for personal growth within a fast-paced environment.
What’s the opportunity?
Working in a team of 8 in a high-volume environment to ensure your assigned suppliers are paid accurately and on time. The Accounts Payable Clerk will:
* Work proactively and communicate effectively with suppliers, Purchase Ledger Supervisor, Head Office budget holders, Warehouse, and Store contacts.
* Build strong relationships by providing trusted service.
This position is for 3 months.
What does the role involve?
* Completing monthly supplier statements with high quality and tidying the ledger.
* Processing invoices and credit notes for stock vendors (furniture/flooring purchase orders) and non-stock vendors (business expenses).
* Investigating invoice queries proactively and collaborating with contacts to ensure timely payments.
