Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to a pending pay award. The final salary will be adjusted in line with the nationally agreed pay award.

Do you have a passion for creativity and the community? Would you like to support Theatr Felinfach’s site and activities? Theatr Felinfach is at the forefront of community, bilingual arts. We are looking to appoint a Caretaker and Groundskeeper for the Felinfach Theatre Campus who will contribute to community engagement and support the use of the site and resources of the theatre and campus.

We wish to see people participating and enjoying creativity and art at a local, national, and international level. We want people to see value in the arts from the perspectives of well-being, identity, language and culture, the economy, and education and career paths.

The Caretaker/Groundskeeper will be responsible for:

1. Opening and closing the Felinfach Campus site and ensuring its safety
2. Preparing rooms and resources for employees and users of the theatre and campus
3. Maintenance of the buildings and resources
4. General maintenance of the land around the site
5. Managing and monitoring the site’s heating and fire safety systems
6. Traffic management during busy times on campus
7. Assisting the catering team with shop sales during show breaks
8. Assisting the artistic team in creating resources and occasional props

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, bilingual person who has:

* Excellent practical skills
* Flexibility to respond to various situations
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good organizational and coordination skills
* Full driving license and use of a car
