What you'll be doing:
* Working to recognised industry standards to produce innovative, high-quality software products.
* Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team, utilising various tools and programming languages, and engaging in all aspects of the software development cycle.
* Participating in assurance and review activities, ensuring configuration, release, and documentation activities meet relevant standards.
* Translating requirements into software designs, implementing and testing solutions, and managing integration, configuration, release, and deployment of the product.
Your skills and experiences:
* Degree in Software Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or a related field.
* Knowledge of one or more software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
* Familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal.

The Control Systems Software team:
BAE Systems Submarines is expanding, with a new office opening in Coventry. We are experiencing significant growth and are recruiting for various roles to support our submarine programs, which are vital to national security. Our team handles system design, procurement, testing, integration, and support for submarine electronic and software systems, working closely with stakeholders including the UK Ministry of Defence.
This role offers the chance to work on high-profile submarine engineering projects, with interaction with internal and external stakeholders. Relocation support is available for eligible candidates.
