This is a hands-on role in a lean, high-impact FP&A team. You'll report to the Head of FP&A and support forecasting and management reporting for senior management, board and lenders, with a strong focus on cash.

The successful candidate will have strong numerical ability and be just as comfortable analysing data as they are communicating their findings to stakeholders within and outside finance. You'll share our commitment to continuously improving processes through automation and AI.

Monthly board and lender reporting
Rolling re-forecasts
Annual budgeting cycle
Lead the preparation of monthly reporting packs including analysis of variances and re-forecasting future periods
Gather data from multiple sources to identify trends for KPIs, sales and costs
Support Head of FP&A with balance sheet and cashflow reporting and forecasting, analysing variances vs. budget and prior month/year and considering impact on future periods
Act as a business partner to senior leaders in the business to support them in managing their budgets

Previous experience in financial analysis, accounting or business analytics is advantageous but not essential
Genuine interest in improving ways of working through automation and AI tools
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across finance and the wider business, for example working with the FC team and budget owners to understand variances
Discretion and sound judgement when handling sensitive financial information
High attention to detail and commitment to accurate, timely delivery
Intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skills, able to translate complex data into actionable insights
Proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or financial planning software (e.g. Workday Adaptive) helpful but not essential
Self-starter who can manage competing priorities
