Eden Scott is delighted to be working with a highly respected wealth management firm based in the West End of Edinburgh. Our client is seeking a motivated and organised IFA Support Administrator on a part time basis to join their small, supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with financial services or IFA administration experience who is looking to develop their skills and progress within the wealth management sector.

In this varied and fast-paced position, you will provide essential administrative support to a team of Financial Advisers. You'll play a key part in delivering a smooth and professional client experience by handling valuations, processing investments, preparing documentation, and ensuring client records are kept accurate and up to date.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a close-knit team, with a strong focus on accuracy, organisation and client service.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to a small team of Financial Advisers
* Manage diaries, arrange meetings, and coordinate client appointments
* Generate client valuations and process income, investments, and transfers
* Maintain and update client records across various systems, including Intelligent Office (IO)
* Prepare client packs, letters, and reports
* Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, printing, and responding to client queries

Experience & Knowledge

* Previous administration experience within an IFA, financial planning, or wealth management environment
* Good understanding of financial services or the wealth management industry
* Comfortable working in a busy team environment as well as independently
* Ability to meet deadlines and process information quickly and accurately
* Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) is highly beneficial

Skills & Attributes

* Strong numeracy skills and accuracy with figures
* Excellent written English, spelling, and grammar
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Competent IT user (Windows 10, MS Word, Outlook, Excel, IO)
* Friendly, reliable, flexible, and professional
