Overview
The role is based in the South Hambleton and North Ryedale team with bases in Easingwold, Kirkbymoorside and Pickering. You will work independently in patients’ homes as part of a multidisciplinary community team comprising Health Care Assistants, Nursing Associates, Staff Nurses and District Nurses.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high‑quality patient care in a rural community setting. • Work independently within a 7‑day shift schedule and support team members across multiple sites. • Transport yourself and equipment across the locality during the working day. • Participate in learning and training opportunities offered by the Trust. • Cross‑cover for other teams and be flexible to travel to work from York or Selby if required.
Qualifications & Experience
• Band 3 Senior Health Care Assistant experience, preferably in a community or home‑care setting. • Demonstrated commitment to delivering care to a high standard and a willingness to extend and develop your skills. • Good organisational and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively. • Commitment to personal and professional development.
