Stannington Village Pre-School is a not a private nursery but is run by a committee and dedicated managers and staff. We have been established and a respected part of the local community for over 20 years.
We only open in "term-time". Our last Ofsted inspection March 2024 resulted on a "good" rating. With your help we would like to reward the local community, and their children by obtaining an 'Outstanding' rating on our next inspection.

Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our small team. You will work closely with our manager to develop our provision and ensure we continue to achieve. You will play a crucial role in driving our team to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. You will manage educational programmes that promote the development of children, ensuring their safety and well-being while encouraging their curiosity and love for learning. You will be our deputy SENCO and Deputy Designated Safe Guarding Lead.
Responsibilities & Experience
Please take a look at our full job description which can be found on the Jobs page of our website. We require a minimum of a relevant L3 qualification, 2 years experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential and we would like one years supervisory experience.
