The practice treats a variety of small animal patients, including: Dogs of all breeds and sizes Cats, supported by a dedicated cat-only waiting area and cattery Small animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, and other companion pets The team consists of experienced veterinary surgeons and a caring, approachable nursing and support team, all focused on providing exceptional clinical standards in a welcoming environment. Facilities include: Fully equipped in-house IDEXX laboratory for rapid diagnostics Advanced digital radiography and dental x-ray systems Modern operating theatre for routine and complex procedures Dedicated surgical and inpatient care areas High-spec monitoring and anaesthesia equipment Comprehensive diagnostic imaging capabilities The practice combines modern technology with a compassionate, patient-first philosophy - ensuring pets receive gold-standard care at every stage of treatment. The Role As an RVN, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding clinical and client care while working closely with veterinary surgeons, the Head Nurse and the wider support team. Your responsibilities will include: Providing high-quality nursing care from admission through to discharge Assisting with surgical procedures, diagnostics and treatments Monitoring inpatients and ensuring excellent recovery care Maintaining accurate clinical records and clear client communication Supporting stock control and practice organisation Upholding clinical standards and contributing to practice development This is a varied and rewarding role offering strong nurse utilisation and opportunities to expand your skills.
