We are looking for a dynamic, sales driven and motivated Senior Business Development Manager who is ready to make their mark in the legal tech world (with one of the best looking bits of software in the market!) An award-winning legal software solution with a growing presence across Australia, the UK, and the US. A fast-paced, agile tech business that's transforming how law firms win new business, onboard clients, and manage their matters. As they continue to scale, they're looking for a driven, strategic, and results-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to join their team and help shape the future of legal tech. In this senior role, you'll be more than just a sales expert you'll be a key contributor to business growth, working closely with leadership to drive high-value opportunities, expand our market reach, and influence the go-to-market strategy. You'll bring your expertise in B2B sales, solution-based selling, and client engagement to help elevate impact. They're looking for someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, is passionate about innovation, and is ready to lead from the front. Responsibilities (key tasks and requirements of the role) Drive high-level B2B sales activity, including strategic prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing new business. Lead discovery sessions and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to client needs, primarily through virtual meetings, which form the core of the sales model. In-person meetings may be required occasionally. Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills. Capacity to think strategically and to identify new opportunities. Outstanding communication and presentation skills and strong attention to detail. Own and manage a rolling pipeline using the CRM system (Zoho), ensuring consistent activity and accurate forecasting. Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Product and Customer Success to support the full client lifecycle. Attend key industry events and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and uncover new prospects. Contribute to the ongoing refinement of our sales strategy and processes. Competencies (essential behaviours required for the role) Strong interpersonal & clear communications skills. High level of influential negotiations skills. Work standards setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence.
