The Spectacles team is home to our hardware products with a world-class research & development team. We are focused on pushing the boundaries of what a camera can be, specifically overlaying computing on the real world. Next Generation Spectacles are our first pair of glasses that bring augmented reality to life.
We’re looking for a Fab Operator to join our production team at Snap Inc!
What you’ll do:
1. Undertake processing of material to the required production plan, quality standards and to the applied standard operating procedures
2. Operation of automated and manual production equipment to standard operating procedures
3. Preparation of materials and tooling
4. Undertake periodic quality checks on equipment, processes and products as specified
5. Highlight any issues or abnormal events that may impact the process area’s ability to achieve the production plan
6. Highlight non compliant parts or materials
7. Comply with Health and Safety regulations within the working environment.
The role requirements include wearing a full cleanroom suit with an expectation that the majority of the work day will take place within the cleanroom.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
8. Ability to work strictly to quality standards and specifications
9. Excellent manual dexterity, able to manipulate very small parts with tweezers and other instruments
10. Good verbal and written communication skills
11. Computer literate with ability to interact with Microsoft or Google office applications and basic data entry
Minimum Qualifications:
12. GCSE in Maths and English
Desirable:
13. 1 years’ manufacturing experience, preferably within a semiconductor or consumer electronics clean room environment
