Property Disputes Senior Associate - Bristol Location: Bristol Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 (dependent on experience) A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Property Disputes Senior Associate to join its market leading team in Bristol. Recognised by Chambers & Partners as a national leader outside London, the team is experiencing significant growth and offers the chance to work with exceptional clients on high profile, complex property litigation matters. The Role You will join a thriving and collaborative Property Disputes practice, working closely with senior partners and contributing to a wide range of contentious property matters. Responsibilities include: Managing a varied caseload across landlord and tenant disputes, development and land rights issues, and telecoms related litigation Handling cases across all court levels, Tribunals and arbitration panels Advising clients on risk mitigation, regulatory issues and potential disputes Building strong relationships with major national clients across real estate, retail, energy, telecoms and development sectors Supporting partners in delivering strategic, commercially focused advice Supervising and mentoring junior team members where appropriate The Practice The team advises on the full spectrum of property disputes, including: Landlord and tenant matters Complex development and land rights disputes Telecoms disputes under the Electronic Communications Code Property related regulatory issues High value litigation and strategic advisory work Clients include leading names such as British Land, Barratt Homes, Marks & Spencer, Greystar, NGED, Canary Wharf Group, Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastructure, SEGRO and Vodafone. The Team The Bristol team is part of a wider national group and includes partners, legal directors, associate directors, senior associates, associates, trainees, paralegals and apprentices. You will primarily support two senior partners while collaborating closely with colleagues across Bristol, London and Reading. Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate will bring: Experience within a recognised Property Litigation team Strong drafting skills and technical legal ability A proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently Confidence in handling complex disputes and engaging with high profile clients Experience supervising junior lawyers (advantageous) Interest in developing expertise in telecoms litigation under the Electronic Communications Code (experience helpful but not essential) A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for sector focused work This role is aimed at Senior Associate level, though strong candidates with slightly less experience will be considered.
