Base pay range

We are seeking an experienced and proactive finance administrator to join our clients busy and collaborative Private Client team in Leeds on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to provide support to their fee earners while working towards the financial strategy of the firm.


Responsibilities

* Take ownership of day‑to‑day financial processes, including preparing invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring accurate record keeping.
* Maintain and update billing schedules to ensure all client matters are managed efficiently.
* Work closely with colleagues at all levels to support the financial management of ongoing projects or cases.
* Produce and analyse regular financial reports to aid decision‑making and highlight key trends.
* Assist with financial meetings by providing data, updates, and insight to fee earners or managers.
* Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing or payment queries in a timely manner.
* Provide updates and progress reports for senior members of the team as required.
* Ensure all work complies with internal financial procedures and confidentiality standards.
* Take part in regular training and development activities to maintain and enhance your skills.


What we’re looking for

* Previous experience in a similar finance or billing role within a professional services environment.
* Strong financial awareness and accuracy in managing figures and data.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Confident communicator with a proactive, team‑oriented approach.
* Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
