Overview
Bend/Flexi Forklift Driver role at Menzies Distribution Solutions Ltd. Menzies is recruiting for a Flexi Forklift Driver to join our team based in Scunthorpe. The purpose of this role is to provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the depot warehouse goods and to complete various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible, upholding the highest standards of health and safety at all times. It also includes other duties to help maintain the efficient and successful working of the warehouse.

* Salary: £27,647 Per Annum / £12.66 Per Hour
* Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Days
* Rotating Shift Patterns: Wk 1-06:00-14:00 and Wk 2-10:00-18:00
* Hours: 42 Hours Per Week
* Employment type: Full-time, permanent
* Location: Scunthorpe, DN15 8QP
* Forklift Experience is Mandatory
* Pay frequency: Monthly Pay

Responsibilities
* Co-operate fully with the site's safety requirements
* Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into the warehouse. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork
* Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork. Both full pallet and manual case/break picked from the racking and ground locations
* Load trailers with customer goods in a timely manner
* Put away of customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking
* Manual handling of products
* Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed
* Housekeeping, including hygiene checks
* Stock integrity and quality checks
* Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy, including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal
Qualifications
* Good communication and team working skills
* Experience operating within a warehouse environment
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* A professional manner
