Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the Senior Social Work Assistants team to manage, track, and progress fostering enquiries.
* Serve as the central point of contact for fostering enquiries, coordinating relationships with prospective foster carers, families, internal teams, and external partners.
* Oversee tracking and progression of enquiries, including initial home visits.
* Manage and analyse customer data to inform service planning and performance.
* Contribute to resource planning, service delivery, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
* Supervisory or management experience in recruitment or a children’s services setting.
* Strong understanding of fostering, fostering regulations, social work practices, and children and youth support.
* Track record in scoping and managing projects, interpreting analytical data, producing reports, and presenting insights to senior managers and stakeholders.
* Flexibility to travel across Somerset and work across different locations.

We have two main bases in Bridgwater and Taunton; you can choose either as your main base.
