Senior Business Analyst - Environment and Business (E&B) - 30749

We are seeking a passionate individual to help improve our operations to deliver more for the environment. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will analyze user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with service vision and business strategy. You will contribute to linking current and future business models and support the delivery of the business architecture. You will act as a critical friend, constructively challenge, and lead effective stakeholder communication to support design, build, and delivery processes, working with project teams, technical teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
Senior BAs will take a lead role in identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to enhance the Business Analysis Service, acting as technical leads, supporting colleagues, and shaping work scope.

The Business Analysis Service primarily supports the Chief Regulator Group, leading various change initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis to maximize opportunities and resources, ensuring decisions support sustainable development and wildlife conservation. Experience and Skills Required
* Leadership: Strong leadership guiding colleagues, leading projects, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to convey findings and recommendations effectively.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders ensuring alignment and buy-in.
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems and identify opportunities for informed decisions.
* Project Delivery: Experience managing analytical support products like requirements catalogues, impact assessments, and business process models.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
* Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications in business analysis.
* Ability to switch between tasks/projects supporting business needs.
* Experience working in Agile environments or with Government Digital Service.
* Experience leading refinement sessions.
* Commitment to Continuous Professional Development and sharing expertise.
