About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations at a busy healthcare manufacturing facility in Merseyside. This is a key role ensuring the efficient, compliant, and safe handling of materials and products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
* Provide line management and development support to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
* Ensure full compliance with GMP/GDP regulations and internal quality standards.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock control processes.
* Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to support manufacturing schedules and customer delivery timelines.
* Drive health and safety standards and ensure all warehouse activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner.
* Support audits and inspections, providing documentation and operational insights as required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in warehouse management within a GMP/GDP-compliant environment, ideally in FMCG, chemical, food or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent understanding of inventory control systems and warehouse best practices.
* Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively at all levels.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
