CCTV Drainage Engineer
Location: Budds Farm WTW, Havant, Hampshire

Job type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours
Salary: £30,500 per annum (basic pay, overtime, on‑call allowance and bonuses)

About the Role
Due to continued growth and development, we are looking for customer‑focused people to join our Utility Division on our Southern Water contract service. The role involves delivering real and effective solutions to waste‑water network and drainage problems.
Responsibilities
* Travel to residential sites in a two‑person crew using a custom‑equipped fleet of high‑tech vans.
* Survey the network of drainage systems.
* Assess pipe conditions to produce high‑quality reports with state‑of‑the‑art drain‑surveying equipment.
* Ensure jobs attended are completed.
* Troubleshoot any problems that arise on the job.
* Liaise with the team of Technical Specialists regarding access and equipment issues.
* Ensure safe site set‑up.
* Update the job notes on VISTEC.
* Take photos of the setup, inspection chamber and entire site.
* Deliver good customer service.
* Maintain good H&S practice while carrying out works.
* Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them.
* Perform other reasonable ad‑hoc duties, tasks or projects as requested by management.
About You
The ideal candidate will be hard‑working, respectful, and compliant with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of OS19X equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g., NRSWA and confined spaces) are an advantage.
