An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and visionary healthcare leader to join a well established national charitable healthcare organisation as Regional Director of Healthcare Operations, overseeing services across the Yorkshire region and leading strategic growth initiatives.

The Role
Reporting into the Executive Team, the Regional Director of Healthcare Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of community-based healthcare services throughout Yorkshire.
This role will be responsible for driving service excellence, leading transformational change programmes, ensuring financial sustainability, and building strong partnerships across integrated care systems and wider healthcare networks.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide visible and inspirational leadership across regional healthcare services.
* Lead and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams, fostering an inclusive and compassionate culture.
* Drive implementation of strategic initiatives and service transformation programmes.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with NHS organisations, Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), commissioners, local authorities, and voluntary sector partners.
* Ensure services achieve high standards of quality, safety, governance, and regulatory compliance.
* Deliver robust financial management, budgetary control, and sustainable service growth.
* Champion innovation and continuous improvement to enhance outcomes for service users and communities.
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Postgraduate-level qualification or equivalent senior leadership experience within healthcare, community services, or the third sector.
* Significant experience operating at senior leadership or director level within complex healthcare environments.
* A strong track record of operational leadership, service transformation, and organisational change.
* Experience managing substantial budgets and delivering financial performance.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to develop strategic partnerships.
* Strong understanding of healthcare commissioning, integrated care systems, and community-based service delivery.
* A collaborative and inclusive leadership style with a commitment to improving outcomes and reducing health inequalities.
