Head of Music at Springfield, an inclusive and high‑performing 11‑16 school. The role is open to Full Time or Part‑Time candidates, with a required start date of September 2026. The school was judged "good" by Ofsted in April 2025.
Responsibilities
* Deliver and develop a high‑quality Music curriculum for students of all abilities.
* Provide leadership and direction to music staff.
* Support student learning and improvement in music.
* Promote safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
Qualifications
* Experienced educator with strong qualifications in music.
* Excellent ICT and organisational skills.
* Ambitious, with strong motivation and a passion for working with young people.
Remuneration & Terms
Pay Scale MPR1 to UPR3; Salary £32,916 to £51,048 (FTE). TLR2b £5,872. The role requires completion of enhanced DBS, overseas checks, online searches, and verification of teacher status via the Department for Education.
