What you'll be doing You'll oversee the home managers from a clinical aspect, putting your expertise to use, with some troubleshooting and helping with commissioning. You'll travel between several sites in Cheshire and North Wales (you'll need a car/licence). The first six months, while you get up to speed, you'll have one home as a "base", putting the world to rights there, then taking what you've learned to the other sites. You can get stuck in yourself, rather than bark orders from the sidelines. If a manager's unavailable, you roll up your sleeves. Hero work. What you'll need As it's a clinical role, you'll need that background - you're either an RGN or RMN. You must have had exposure to elderly nursing homes due to the unique challenges there. We need someone who can hit the ground running, so you'll need experience having managed a home before. If you've already got multi-site experience, we'll absolutely love you. But maybe you're a hungry Home Manager who wants to step up into regional management.
