Priory Hospital Dorking is looking for a proactive HR & Resourcing Co-ordinator to join our friendly and dedicated team. This is a full time 37.5 hours role.
Nestled in beautiful Surrey countryside, our hospital provides specialist acute mental health services, helping people through difficult times and supporting their recovery journey. While this role doesn’t involve direct patient care, your work will play a key part in making sure our teams are well supported, our hospital runs smoothly, and our patients feel safe and cared for.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
* Provide advice to Managers on HR policy and procedures, liaising with Regional HR team for guidance on complex or high risk cases, in line with matrix guidelines.
* Support Managers to review/amend/update, management reports, and ER letters, to ensure compliance with HR policy, and appropriateness & accuracy, in line with facts of the case.
* Ensure the effective management and conclusion of all ER cases including escalation process when required
* Partner with managers to ensure appropriate Occupational Health referrals in line with relevant HR policy & procedure
* Provide general support for HR activities at site.

What you'll bring to the role
The post-holder should possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, along with excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate needs to have hands-on employee relations case management experience. While working towards a CIPD qualification would be desirable, it is not essential. The candidate should have previous experience as an HR Administrator or Assistant within a commercial environment, either in a generalist or specialist capacity. Experience within the healthcare sector is desirable but not essential.
