Position: Lettings Negotiator
Location: Tamworth
Salary: £24,500 to £27,000 p/a + bonus
Working hours: Flexible hours, full or part time
My client is a successful estate agent based in Tamworth. Due to ongoing growth, they are now recruiting an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join their team on a full-time basis.
With the backing of a National Group and the freedom to operate independently, they are an employer of choice in the region. As you’d expect, there will be a requirement to visit properties, so you will need a driving licence and your own vehicle. Full mileage expenses will be paid accordingly.
Responsibilities of the Lettings Negotiator in Tamworth include:
1. Preparing tenancy agreements
2. Updating the website and branch window displays
3. Helping to achieve branch targets
4. Responding promptly and effectively to phone and online enquiries
5. Managing client enquiries and registering their details on the system
6. Registering, matching, and booking viewings for prospective tenants
7. Attending local viewings and property inspections
8. Managing the front office as needed
9. Inputting information and updating records on the company system
10. Advertising properties to let on relevant websites
11. Organising repairs and property maintenance for tenants
12. Accurately recording appointments, viewings, and contact with clients
13. Assisting the Sales team as needed
Essential skills and experience for a Lettings Negotiator in Tamworth:
1. Minimum of 2 years lettings experience, preferably within a large national estate agent chain
2. Energetic and enthusiastic
3. Motivated to succeed with a strong work ethic
4. Excellent communication skills
5. A team player
6. Organised and efficient, with the ability to prioritise key tasks
7. PC literate and experienced with MS Office
8. Well presented, polite, and approachable
9. Excellent written and verbal skills
10. A flexible attitude to assisting with various sales and letting duties as needed
