Overview
We are Liberty Academy Trust, seeking a part-time Governance Coordinator to support volunteers who provide independent assurance to the Board of Trustees. The role is 0.5 FTE (17.5 hours per week) with some twilight flexibility; based at home with occasional travel to schools.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate governance activities across the Trust's network, supporting the Director of Governance, the Board of Trustees, school Principals and Committee members.
* Provide administrative support to trustees and volunteers, including scheduling, meeting logistics, note-taking, and records management.
* Assist with onboarding of governance volunteers and maintain relevant governance documentation to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
* Communicate proactively with diverse stakeholders and help foster strong partnerships across the network.
Qualifications
* Experience in similar administrative governance work; school environment experience is a plus.
* Excellent attention to detail, proactive and collaborative approach.
* Ability to work remotely with some travel and flexible hours to meet committee needs.
