HGV Technician - Ayr
£1,000 signing bonus payable after 6 months service!
Salary - £18ph - £20ph plus overtime
Working a rotating shift with an early finish Fridays!
Dayshift:
Monday - Thursday: 08.00 – 16.45
Friday: 08.00 - 13.30
Backshift:
Mon-Thurs: 14.30 – 22.30
Friday: 12.30 - 21.00

What you will do
7. Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
8. Assist in the fault diagnosis process
9. Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
10. Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
11. Assist with roadside breakdowns.
12. Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
13. Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
14. Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained
15. Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
Who are you?
16. Hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or Apprenticeship
17. Previous experience of repair work on Heavy Vehicles or Plant Equipment
18. Keen to progress your career in a forward thinking and innovative company
