Role: floor manager
We're looking for a service-led floor manager to own the room, energise the team, and deliver warm, efficient service from door to pass.
Pay & Hours
* £16.50 per hour (starting)
* 40–45 hours per week on a fair, rotating rota
* Staff meals, paid holiday & workplace pension (statutory)
Key Responsibilities — floor manager
* Lead briefings; set sections, goals, and service standards
* Control flow on the door and floor: reservations/waitlist, turns, pacing at the pass
* Support and coach FOH; spot-train to lift standards during live service
* Handle guest recovery confidently; turn feedback into solutions
* Maintain allergen, food-safety & H&S compliance; keep stations immaculate
* Oversee opening/closing checks, cashing up, and end-of-day reporting
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience as a floor manager / duty manager / FOH supervisor in a busy, quality-led restaurant
* People-first leadership, calm under pressure, clear communication
* Sharp eye for detail, pacing, and presentation; hands-on and proactive
* Comfortable with POS/reservations and basic cash/close procedures
* Flexible for evenings/weekends; right to work in the UK
