B2 Licensed Engineer - EDI

As a Licensed Engineer, you’ll work on cutting-edge NEO aircraft, including the A321, ensuring top aircraft performance through scheduled maintenance and task supervision. You'll bring strong technical knowledge, hands-on skills, and experience with maintenance documentation and digital reporting systems. What you’ll be doing
* Exercise your license/approval to accomplish scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring all tasks meet required standards and support safe, efficient operations.
* Record and issue certificates of release to service, review allocated resources, and advise the Duty Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor of any potential service disruptions.
* Set task priorities to ensure safe, timely flight departures, complete and certify documentation, inspect parts, and supervise others to maintain high standards of quality.
* Compile delay reports, maintain equipment and facilities, assist with departures, take handovers if required, and ensure smooth shift transitions by recording deferred defects and ordering spares as needed.
What you’ll need to do the role
* UK Part 66 B1 license (or equivalent) with authorisation on company aircraft, with up-to-date knowledge of airworthiness legislation and at least 3 years of experience in a line maintenance environment.
* Strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team at all levels.
* Flexibility to meet deadlines, adaptability to overcome operational challenges, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Solid understanding of Health and Safety legislation and proficiency in IT.

Location & Hours of Work
This full-time role will be based in Edinburgh Airport and will be permanent night shifts.
