Potential to attend brand product meetings to view collections for the upcoming seasons and select key pieces for New Look Monitor the market & trend analysis, present any gaps on the department Regularly complete comp shops New In reports to see what competitors are offering Working to the Critical Path to meet all deadlines, working closely with MAA to oversee the department Critical Path and delivery schedule Dealing with issues arising with orders both internally and externally Taking ownership of finding solutions Admin Diary management: Managing senior team diary invites and coordinating various diaries Raising purchase orders ensuring accuracy efficiency Coordinating barcode process Supporting commitment through the weekly team updates Assisting the team with supplier slippage management Actioning any order amendments under direction from the B&M team Managing ecom imagery process and working closely with the studio team, ensuring imagery is received from the brands ahead of go live dates Trading Basic understanding of trade reports Basic understanding of trade decisions Attending Group Trade meetings Review weekly best sellers Bring ideas/solutions to the table Product Awareness An understanding of the New Look Customer Basic understanding of our Customer Insight and Market Share Actively contributing in trend and competitor analysis, making recommendations for changes or developments Ongoing familiarity of the competition’s product range Completing and reporting back on NL store visits and competitor shops Who you are: You have a strong awareness of current fashion trends and a good understanding of the high street landscape. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy in everything you do. A confident communicator who builds positive relationships across teams and with suppliers. Passionate about product, with a genuine interest in how ranges are built and brought to market. Previous experience within Fashion/Retail and/or in a Buying Admin Assistant role is advantageous. A fashion-related qualification or degree is desirable, but not essential.
