Job Description
We are seeking a strategic, creative, and culturally fluent Social Media & Content Manager to lead the evolution of our brands' social presence. This pivotal role is ideal for a digitally native brand builder capable of translating brand strategy into bold, best-in-class content and community engagement.
Key Objectives
You will shape and execute a bold social media strategy across platforms, focusing on TikTok and Instagram, while expanding into Snapchat, Pinterest, and YouTube. Working with our global brands, including Colab and Johnny’s Chop Shop, you will create engaging content that tells our brands' stories, aiming to grow engagement and followers while delivering measurable results.
You will collaborate across departments, including Sales and Brand teams, to create buzz and report on performance against KPIs. You will also liaise with the Founder and Creative Director for external social media communication and manage the Social Media Internship program.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategy and Content Creation: Define and evolve social strategies, develop content plans, and create content including filming and editing when necessary.
* Trend Leadership: Lead weekly trend meetings, monitor industry activity, and collaborate on campaigns and community management.
* Performance & Analysis: Track KPIs, analyze campaign performance, and adjust strategies to improve engagement and awareness.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Represent SLG Brands in retailer discussions and manage our presence on social platforms.
* People Management: Oversee the social media intern program and build a network of creators and editors.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in social media/content roles within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
* Strong strategic, creative, and content creation skills, including video editing (CapCut, Adobe, Canva).
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.
* Ability to react quickly to trends and cultural moments.
