Join the Technical Services (TS) (Air) team!
Your Role
Your role involves ensuring the top-notch condition of mechanical aviation equipment, sub-assemblies, and components stored by Logistic Services. This includes preventive maintenance, investigations, and examinations.
Your Responsibilities
* Carry out examination, minor repair, and adjustments to a range of Mechanical aviation components, associated sub-assemblies, and component parts, in accordance with relevant approved data, Tech Services Procedures, and Work Based Instructions.
* Meet targets and objectives for Tech Services as per the KN/TS/LCS business plan to support and sustain our Armed Forces.
* Maintain and apply ISO 9001 Quality Standards throughout the organization.
* Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are adhered to at all times.
* Relay customer requirements to the appropriate authority.
* Work according to British (BS), European (EN), and other standards.
* Record, analyze, and interpret data related to the work undertaken. Propose modifications and retest products.
* Certify the final product or system for authorized release, prepare documentation, and write reports.
Your Skills and Experiences
* ONC/HNC in Engineering or relevant trade training and knowledge within the aircraft industry.
* Working knowledge of Military aircraft aviation equipment and processes, compliant with approved data and regulations.
* Good organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook.
* Knowledge of Military Aviation Authority (MAA) regulations, best practices, and current Air Publications.
* Understanding of occurrence reporting.
