💧 Senior Mechanical Estimator – Water Sector (Remote)

💰 £65,000–£75,000 + package (DOE)
We’re working with a Tier 1 contractor delivering major water infrastructure projects as part of AMP8. They’re expanding their pre-construction team and looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to join them on a remote basis.
🛠What you’ll do:
* Develop bottom-up and top-down estimates for mechanical works (£5m–£250m projects)
* Review drawings, specs & scoping docs to build accurate cost models
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
* Benchmark using cost curves and SORs
* Support pricing strategy, risk identification, and tender preparation
🎯 What you’ll need:
* Mechanical discipline background + estimating experience in the water sector
* Experience working on clean/wastewater or capital maintenance schemes
* Familiarity with NEC contracts & estimating tools (CCS Candy = bonus)
* Great commercial awareness + strong attention to detail
