We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated individual to join our team as a self-employed delivery driver. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for transporting hot food to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate should have their own car, a valid driver's license, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Delivery of Hot Food:
* Safely and promptly deliver hot food orders to customers' specified locations.
* Ensure the quality and temperature of the food are maintained during transit.
* Own Vehicle:
* Utilize your own reliable and well-maintained vehicle for deliveries.
* Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
* Route Planning:
* Efficiently plan delivery routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency.
* Familiarize yourself with the local area to navigate efficiently.
* Customer Service:
* Provide a high level of customer service, including a friendly demeanor and professional appearance.
* Handle customer inquiries or concerns courteously and promptly.
* Adherence to Safety Standards:
* Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
* Take necessary precautions to ensure your safety and the safety of others on the road.
* Record Keeping:
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and expenses.
* Submit necessary documentation for reimbursement based on mileage (30p per mile).
* Communication:
* Maintain effective communication with the dispatch team and customers.
* Notify customers of any delays or issues with their delivery.
* Flexibility:
* Adapt to changes in schedules or additional delivery requests as needed.
Qualifications:
* Own a reliable and well-maintained vehicle.
* Possess a valid driver's license and insurance.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and responsibly.
Compensation:
* Payment of 30p per mile for all miles driven during deliveries.
* Reimbursement for certain job-related expenses.
