Experienced Year 2 Teacher – Blackpool (FY4)

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum and recognised phonics schemes.
* Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and fosters a love of learning.
* Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to both students and parents.
* Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support the diverse needs of learners.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership to support the wider development of the school.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial experience teaching in Year 2.
* Demonstrable success in raising attainment and delivering strong pupil outcomes.
* In-depth knowledge and practical experience of delivering phonics schemes.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and high-quality teaching practice.
Salary:
The daily rate for this role is £130–£160, which may be subject to change after the 12-week qualifying period in line with Agency Workers Regulations (AWR).
