Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Risk Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in overseeing risk across complex maritime projects. From ship design and production to delivery schedules and supply chain resilience, you’ll help us navigate uncertainty and unlock opportunity.
This is a high-impact role where your insights will shape strategic decisions, safeguard operations, and ensure senior leadership has full visibility of programme-related risks.
What You’ll Be Doing
Risk Management
• Lead comprehensive risk reviews across health, safety, environmental, quality, and financial domains
• Collaborate with Control Account Managers (CAMs) to review and update risk assessments
• Develop and maintain Risk and Opportunity Registers with clear ownership, impact analysis, and mitigation plans
• Work closely with project teams to embed risk policies and procedures
• Conduct spot audits to ensure risks are identified and addressed
• Partner with Procurement to secure strategic materials and assess capital asset risks
• Identify and evaluate opportunities, providing cost/benefit analysis to senior stakeholders
• Prepare and present monthly risk panel updates and reports for senior management
Business Continuity
• Develop and maintain a robust Business Continuity Plan to ensure operational resilience
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
Skills & Experience
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and best practices
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation
• Experience in conducting cost/benefit analysis and presenting findings to stakeholders
• Qualification in Risk Management or a related field
• Typically requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
