Job Description
The M25 is a key project for us, being the most used part of the UK Strategic Road Network, with over 200,000 vehicles daily. It includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, requiring high performance and ongoing maintenance. We have formed a Joint Venture, Connect Plus Services (CPS), to operate and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract. We seek a Project Manager to lead renewal and improvement projects, focusing on the Dartford Crossing: Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, West & East tunnels.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple projects at different stages of their lifecycle.
* Oversee project development, engagement, and coordination with asset teams, designers, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Manage project schedules, including critical path activities, with the planning team.
* Handle project finances, including cost planning, invoice review, forecasting, and commercial reviews.
* Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring quality, budget, and timelines are met.
* Lead project governance, presentations, and gateway approvals.
* Report on project progress, risks, and financial status internally and to clients.
* Participate in the M25 community forums and workshops.
* Support sustainability initiatives and business objectives.

Working Arrangements
* Willingness to travel and work onsite at the Dartford office.
* Periodic site visits, including night shifts for H&S audits.
* Full UK Driving License required.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in project management, preferably with PRINCE2, APMP, or similar qualifications.
* Degree qualification and membership of a professional body preferred.
* Knowledge of Highway or Structures Engineering and related design areas.
* Understanding of CDM, H&S, and Environmental legislation relevant to highways.
* Familiarity with NEC contracts and other relevant contractual frameworks.
