The Role
Operating Weaving Looms
You will run and monitor weaving looms, learning how each machine operates and ensuring consistent, efficient performance throughout your shift.
Maintaining Quality and Output
You'll take responsibility for both productivity and quality, making sure fabric is produced to specification while maintaining steady production levels.
Quality Checking and Reporting
You will carry out routine quality checks, accurately complete production records and report any faults, defects or concerns promptly to your supervisor.
Maintaining a Safe and Organised Workspace
Working safely is essential. You'll follow health and safety procedures at all times, keeping machines and surrounding areas clean, tidy and well maintained.
Working as Part of a Team
Although you will manage your own machines, you'll be part of a wider production team working toward shared targets. Reliability, teamwork and communication are key to success in this role.
