We're searching for a proactive, organised and friendly individual to join our small but mighty Development team as an Alumni Events and Engagement Manager. From school reunions to large-scale dinners and London-based events, you will deliver a calendar of events to help build a vibrant, engaged global alumni community that results in advocacy, volunteering and philanthropic support.

The Details
Location: Loughborough
Salary: in line with LSF pay scales (circa. £32,000 per annum)
Contract: Full-time, hybrid-working (with a minimum of 3 days on campus per week). Evening and weekend work may be required, but TOIL will be given

The Role
Job title: Alumni Events and Engagement Manager
Report to: Director of Development
Working with: Development team, schools’ staff and alumni associations
Department: Development and Alumni
Key Responsibilities
* Designing and delivering a full alumni events programme across multiple locations (including London and Loughborough).
* Managing logistics, communications, venues, suppliers, budgets, staffing and evaluation.
* Leading event planning meetings and briefings across the Development Office.
* Building strong relationships with alumni, volunteers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Supporting commercial events and online programming.
* Overseeing post-event analysis and annual reporting to help shape strategy.
* Organising and hosting alumni committee meetings and acting as the main point of contact for alumni volunteers.
What we're looking for
* Significant experience managing both large and small events end-to-end.
* Strong stakeholder, communication and project management skills.
* Confident working independently, flexibly and to deadline.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
* Ability to manage budgets and analyse event impact.
* Experience in education, alumni relations, or development/fundraising settings.
* Experience working with volunteers or committees.
* Familiarity with alumni/CRM systems (e.g. ThankQ, Raiser's Edge).
* Experience delivering hybrid or virtual events.
