Leased & Tenanted Divisions (South West)
JWR is representing an established, entrepreneurial and well-capitalised pub operator offering career-focused Business Development Manager opportunities across their estate.

The Role
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) covering the South West, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of leased & tenanted pubs. This is a high-impact role offering autonomy, where your operational expertise will support operators in driving growth, building community-focused businesses, and improving performance.
Responsibilities
Providing operators with the tools, guidance, and support to maximise turnover and profitability.
Building strong, consultative partnerships that deliver year-on-year regional profit growth.
Training, developing, and auditing operators to raise standards across your estate.
Managing budgets, product offers, and marketing investments.
Leading refurbishment projects and identifying new sales opportunities.
Recruiting and onboarding new operators/partners.
Working closely with the executive team to ensure pubs operate at full potential.
Requirements
We are seeking ambitious and entrepreneurial individuals with:
Strong experience in licensed retail, hospitality, or a related sector, ideally from a L&T background.
Proven commercial awareness and the ability to balance creativity with financial performance.
A proactive, self-starting approach with energy, initiative, and drive.
Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and inspire partners.
The desire to make a tangible impact across a region, shaping both your role and your pubs.
